WHY JRM

Our #1 Priority is Making Sure Every Worker Gets Home Safe

JRM adheres to the highest environmental health and job site safety standards when planning and executing our construction projects in New York, New Jersey, California, Florida, and across the U.S.

We Lead By Example

At JRM Construction Management, our teams work collaboratively towards a common goal of ensuring workplace safety onsite. JRM’s dedicated safety professionals act as advisers who tour all projects regularly and advocate our core safety philosophies of having proper PPE at all times, mandatory fall protection beginning at 6 ft, no live electrical work, and preventing the spread of silica dust. We educate and empower our workforce by requiring JRM subcontractors to actively engage in our safety program and having JRM employees attend weekly training classes. JRM field teams continually advance their expertise by maintaining the highest level of certifications.

The JRM Safety Program consists of mandatory site orientations for all trade persons, safety kickoff meetings to review project specifics, maintaining a clean worksite, mandatory weekly tool-box talks, pre-task planning required for any new onsite activities, daily safety audits completed by the JRM field team, and aggressive & thorough accident investigation.

Adapting Our Approach

JRM prides itself as an industry leader in workplace safety and strives to find innovative solutions to complex challenges. Through the recent COVID-19 crises we worked closely with industry trades to develop new workplace standards that helped jump-start a return to construction. JRM utilizes a digital jobsite safety application that is available to all our workers. Our site personnel utilize touchless single-scan site check-ins, digital daily health screenings, automatic daily attendance logs, and are updated on all communications through instant text & video messaging. Professional and health compliance data is easily managed as all workers upload OSHA certifications, training cards and clean bills of health to their digital profiles.

We are committed to continually advancing our safety expertise across all sectors and our teams have also pursued both American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE) and Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) certifications to better manage the diverse challenges of healthcare construction projects.
