Project Size 76,000 SF

JRM Construction Management completed East Harlem Tutorial Program’s (EHTP) new 76,000 SF ground-up educational complex. This $47M GMP facility serves as both a high school and a gateway to higher education, significantly enhancing the academic infrastructure of East Harlem. Featuring advanced construction techniques such as drilled micro piles and a noteworthy two-story, 90-foot structural steel truss, the building’s dynamic façade combines a curtain wall, face brick, metal panels, and EIFS. These elements contribute to the building’s aesthetic appeal and functional sustainability, ensuring it stands as a beacon of progress in the community.

The complex is equipped with a full commercial kitchen and cafeteria, state-of-the-art science labs, a competition-size basketball court, spacious classrooms, and contemporary administrative offices. Designed to cater to various educational and extracurricular activities, these facilities support a rich learning environment that promotes student growth and development. This project underscores JRM’s commitment to supporting educational communities and expanding EHTP’s capabilities to improve academic outcomes, helping students transition smoothly from high school to college.
