JRM Construction South completed the new Dr. Martens retail store in Aventura Mall, a striking 1,960 SF embodiment of the brand’s bold spirit. Under the leadership of JRM and in partnership with Robert G. Lyon & Associates INC. and KLH Engineers, this project delivers a retail space that perfectly combines Dr. Martens’ signature style with modern retail demands.

Upon entering, customers are immediately immersed in the industrial chic aesthetic that defines Dr. Martens, greeted by exposed ceilings, LED fixtures, and sealed concrete floors. The brick-accented walls and custom storefronts featuring brick veneers and blackened aluminum set a distinct backdrop for the brand’s prominent signage.

The interior continues to impress with its array of built-in shoe displays, extensive stock rooms, and functional cash wrap areas, all meticulously designed to enhance the shopping experience. JRM’s commitment to quality and detail is also evident in the comprehensive upgrade of the MEP systems, ensuring that the operations of Dr. Martens’ new store are as seamless as their iconic footwear.
