JRM Construction West completed an interior fit-out for the Australian retail chain, Cotton On. They are known for fast-fashion clothing, accessories, homeware, gifts, and more. Its new 6,100 SF location at The Collection Riverpark Mall in Oxnard, California was completed in just 8 weeks.
JRM gave the retail store a new storefront using glass and brick tiles, making sure to meet the landlord’s specifications. Working hand-in-hand with Sargenti Architects, JRM was able to implement Cotton On’s design criteria, used in their Australian stores, including the use of MDF columns and beams to create a structural look and lightweight vinyl planks on the ceiling in their sales area.
A new lighting control system was installed to meet Cotton On requirements and Title 24 stipulations, as well as all new MEP infrastructure, including new electrical service for the space, rooftop AC unit and ductwork, and a new bathroom with all new plumbing piping.
