Curved Ceilings & Oak Cladding Redefine Shopping For Bedding Retailer

JRM Construction West completed an eye-catching new space for mattress and bedding retailer Casper in the South Coast Plaza shopping center. Designed by TPG Architecture and engineered by KLH Engineers, this project stands as a testament to our innovative construction solutions and attention to detail, featuring intricately curved drop ceilings and soffits, as well as new rift-cut white oak storefront cladding, enhancing the space’s aesthetic appeal.

To address unique challenges, including added framing scope from roof deck attachment requirements, the JRM team worked multiple shifts to minimize schedule impacts. We also coordinated overnight work in adjacent occupied spaces, showcasing our commitment to efficiently managing complex tasks while ensuring minimal disruption to surrounding tenants.
