Expansive Renovations For Renowned Non-Profit Community Center

JRM Construction Management completed a project for 92nd Street Y (92Y), a renowned non-profit cultural and educational community center in New York City. The project involved extensive renovations of their existing space as part of the Phase 2 Projects, which were funded by a combination of public funding from the City of New York and New York State, as well as private funds.

The 30,000 SF construction project included a complete renovation of Buttenwieser Hall, the adjacent Green Room, a new state-of-the-art retractable stage, and seating installation.

In addition, the project involved the renovation and expansion of the Harkness Dance Center, renovation of the May Center locker rooms and showers, and the conversion of dormitory spaces on the 10th floor into office space.
