U.S. Flagship For Swedish Footwear Brand In NYC’s SoHo Shopping District

JRM Construction Management completed the first U.S. store for the distinguished Swedish footwear and clothing brand Axel Arigato in the vibrant SoHo neighborhood. Partnering with Sargenti Architects, we brought to life the brand’s US Flagship location at the prime corner of Prince and Lafayette Streets. Since its inception in 2014, Axel Arigato has been on an impressive trajectory of growth, and this project signifies a pivotal moment in its expansion into the US market.

The Soho store design features a new storefront system and exquisite shelving with stone cladding across the display floor, designed to highlight the brand’s sleek aesthetic. An extensive lighting package, new branding elements, and floor-to-ceiling mirrors enhance the customer experience, creating a space that is both inviting and reflective of Axel Arigato’s minimalist elegance. Additionally, the project encompassed updates to the back-of-house space and the installation of new plumbing and mechanical equipment, ensuring the store operates seamlessly.
