JRM Construction Management completed a build-out of Bloomberg’s Financial Products Group’s expanded offices in their existing headquarters at 731 Lexington Ave. The additional 35,000 SF include over 400 new desks and feature multiple collaboration areas, an interconnecting staircase, as well as new mechanical and technological infrastructure to support the firm’s growth.
The phased project commenced with the partial demo of the existing premises, focusing on the 2nd and 3rd floors which remained occupied at the start of the project. New feature elements included a fish tank, biophilia design concepts, as well an internal feature staircase to connect the 2nd and 3rd floors.
New support rooms, MER and IDF rooms, along with upgraded bathrooms provide an enhanced workplace environment for Bloomberg’s Financial Products Group. Ground floor security access checkpoints were also integrated into the existing building layout.
