JRM Construction is pleased to announce that it has recently completed the interior construction of the new Coach headquarters. The 600,000 SF interior fit-out consists of 12 floors at 10 Hudson Yards. Coach, a modern luxury brand, houses roughly 1,400 employees at the new location, which features corporate offices as well as retail space on the ground floor. Coach is the first tenant to move into the 52-story glass-and-concrete tower.
JRM was selected to build out not only commercial office space for Coach’s employees, but a ground-floor retail space as well. The new store features a museum-like display of 2,000 replica handbags from Coach’s product library. The display is visible from a segment of the High Line that runs parallel to 10 Hudson Yards, named “Coach Passage.” The shelves are custom made utilizing bronze and glass. The space also features a cafeteria and dining space, a terrace overlooking the Hudson river, two full walls of video screens, two “living” green walls and hardwood floors.
